You can make a campfire bigger and bigger by adding little pieces of wood; but if you keep adding wood before the fire has dealt with the wood you already added, the fire will get out of control and become too big. I'm trying to say that the little stressors in life need to be dealt with before they become out of control reactions. The modern world tends to be very complicated and fast-paced with seemingly endless commitments and tasks. Even though it might be hard to see through the fog, you can still take the steps! The concept of stress doesn't have a positive or negative connotation. It is actually a physical response to our stimuli. A person who is burdened with excess can suffer harm. There are many online meditations and therapies for destressing, but the solution is to recognize the unhealthy & unnecessary ones. Stress is like a beach ball. No matter how hard you try to hold it into the water, it still pops up. By letting it float around us, we can let it be. Instead of stopping our thoughts, we can stop fighting them.
